Dan & Janet served in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, East Africa for 18 years. Their ministries included evangelism among urban Muslims, church planting, mercy ministry & transformational development, equipping and mentoring national believers, and the development of Haven of Peace Academy, a Christian school serving MKs and non-Christian students. In 2010, they finished their ministry in Dar es Salaam.
Dan and Janet are now based in the US. Dan serves with Enterprise North America reaching out to Muslims in the northern suburbs of a city in the northeast USA and equipping churches and Christians to engage in the lives of Muslims and other internationals with the Gospel. Dan also serves with Enterprise West Africa traveling to that region four times annually to teach and mentor pastors and potential leaders in a church-planting movement led by a Muslim-background believer in a country that is 95% Muslim.
The Lord has also given them a ministry to a Swahili-speaking, Congolese family of refugees who live in their community. Janet especially has been helping them with a wide variety of spiritual and physical needs. She also works part time for a local non-profit organization as a student advisor for their family literacy ESL program. Janet’s students are all immigrants and refugees. Dan and Janet have four children, Kaelyn (27), Erin (25), Jonathan (22) and Matthew (19).
