On behalf of the Alexandria Presbyterian Church family, we invite you to become an active part of our life and community.
We believe that participation in the life of a congregation is essential for your growth in Jesus Christ. Scripture teaches that "In Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others." (Romans 12:5) Membership at APC is therefore open to all who profess faith in Jesus Christ and believe the basic teachings of the Christian faith. One may join upon a Profession of Faith, Reaffirmation of Faith or by Letter of Transfer from an evangelical church.
Anyone interested in membership or in gaining a deeper understanding of APC will want to first attend the Inquirer's Class led by our pastor. There you will receive an introduction to Christianity, the Presbyterian Church in America, and the specific vision, mission and philosophy of ministry at Alexandria Presbyterian Church.
The Inquirer's Class is offered three times each year, usually in February, June and October. It begins with a great meal on Friday evening, and continues on Saturday with opportunities to fellowship and learn together. Click here for the most recent Inquirer's Class information, or call the church office for upcoming dates.
