Praise and Worship Music
The Psalms are a wonderful reminder of how music speaks to the human heart and the heart of God (Ps 63:5, Ps 98:5, Ps 45:8, Ps 92:1). The praise team helps lead the congregation before the throne of God each week in our worship service.
Our philosophy of worship is well defined by William Temple, who served as Archbishop of Canterbury during WWII. He said, “Worship is the submission of all of our nature to God. It is the quickening of the conscience by His holiness; the nourishment of mind with His truth; the purifying of imagination by His beauty; the opening of the heart to His love; and the surrender of will to His purpose."
